Beta Readers Cohort 2024

Deadline:

About This Call

DuMonde's research process depends on rigorous, structured feedback at every stage. Our Beta Readers Cohort is a key part of that process — a group of engaged scholars and practitioners who read working papers before they enter formal peer review, providing the kind of substantive early feedback that strengthens research before it reaches a wider audience.

We are now recruiting for the 2024-2025 cohort. Beta readers will receive early access to two working papers per month, spanning DuMonde's core research areas: emotional governance frameworks, polarization diagnostics, and ethical framing in public discourse. Each paper comes with a structured feedback rubric designed to guide readers through key evaluative dimensions — clarity of argument, methodological soundness, relevance to practice, and quality of evidence.

What We Offer

Beta readers receive full acknowledgment in published papers, access to DuMonde's internal research seminars, and priority consideration for the Research Fellows program. More importantly, they join a community of serious readers committed to improving the quality of public knowledge about emotional governance.

How to Apply
